Servitir welcomed the news that global oil prices have dramatically fallen after it was announced from the United States that supply levels of crude oil are much higher than at any other time during the last 16 months. The price plunge is said to be due to the harsh economic circumstances being felt around the globe which energy speculators believe has ultimately led to a significant drop in consumption. This means that for the time being, a barrel of oil has fallen below the 70 dollar mark after having reached 147 dollars during the summer. We hope that this fall will be quickly reflected in the price of diesel at the pumps which would help to lift some of the economic burden that the transport sector in particular has had to endure.
